10.12, use MultiBeast 9.
See Post #1, Unsupported/Non-working Realtek ALC AppleHDA
Oh sorry. I've used MultiBeast 9. False statement in my post

Upgraded from El Capitan with audio working to Sierra, which boots consistently from its SSD. However, no audio devices.
  • Multibeast 9/9.01 fails to install repeatedly
  • audio_cloverALC-120 script shows "no audio codec detected."
  • KextBeast indicates it has installed the 10.12 AppleHDA.kext, but no audio devices remains.
The attached image shows my EFI kext folder. Should there be a 10.12 folder with kexts in it? Is this my problem?
