No Sound - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

Description of audio problem
Fresh install of OS X 10.11.2. According to motherboard website, I should use Realtek ALC1150. I ran multibeast and installed Realtek ALC1150. When I restarted the computer, I don't have any audio outputs available. I also noticed that when I ran multibeast, it's suppose to change the System Definition to Mac Pro 3,1 and it is not. It still saying iMac 14,2. So weird....

OS X version/motherboard model/processor/graphics
10.11.2 / ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer / Intel Core i5-4460 Haswell 3.2GHz LGA 1150 / NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti

Procedure/Guide Used
I installed OS X 10.11.2 using the installation guide on the TonyMac website. The multibeast settings were selected based on what the motherboard website said I should use for Audio/Network.

1.No audio devices appear (No Codec)
Major issue: No codec, see Post #1. No OS X audio until codec id appears in DPCIManager.
Minor issue: EFI partition was not mounted when script ran.

Well when I went to the folder where the AppleHDA.kext is suppose to be, there is nothing there that is called that.

Graphics is working, but the system definition is off, if that means anything.

I don't get why the sound isn't working. I have gotten the sound to work in 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, but not 10.11... It makes no sense.

Looking in the wrong place.
No kext loaded, graphics is not working (VESA only)
Really, Z97 is not supported in 10.6, 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9 (fix for 10.9.5).

:banghead: enough of that.. finally breaking down and asking for help, after trying just about every method I've been able to find. Perhaps I didn't get one of those methods backed out all of the way, but I've lost count of the number of times I've nuked AppleHDA.kext and re-installed through Pacifist.

No output/input devices found. HDEF shows up in IOJones, but layout-id remains 0, regardless of injection in config.plist.

HDEF shows up in IOJones, but layout-id remains 0, regardless of injection in config.plist.

Clover did not load the audio controller (8086A170), no idea why.
Suggestion:
1. remove config.plist/ACPI/DSDT/Fixes/Rename HDAS to HDEF
2. install ssdt_hdef-1-100-hdas

That did the trick! Thank you so much. Would you care to still see the logs anyway?
