No Audio Devices - Realtek ALC AppleHDA [Guide]

No audio.

Sierra 10.12.6 (from scratch)
Gigabyte Z170-HD3P
6700K @ 4GHz
Pascal Titan X (with NVIDIA webdrivers correctly installed and working)

The procedure I used is explained in the 03_and_10-procedure_used.txt attached file.

I think I attached all the stuff you said, but in case you need anything else please tell me!!

No audio.
Script: Error: no IOReg/HDEF; BIOS/audio/disabled or ACPI problem
MacOS does not support Intel 100 Series Audio.

Today I booted and... audio works o_O I promise I hadn't done anything since my last reboot yesterday. My last try was MultiBeast for installing ALC887 together with 100 Series. I rebooted and I didn't have audio. Then I prepared all the attached files above and switched off the computer. Today I boot it and it works.

Do you have any idea of what could have happened here? Should I consider audio is fixed, or could it disappear as magically as it appeared?

  1. I am having a terrible time getting HDMI audio working on my newest Hackintosh (#4, if I can get everything working, I'm going to make MANY more of them, going to clone them like they are freaking cylons!!!)
  2. OSX 10.12.6. Gigabyte GA-h270N-Wifi. BIOS Version F6, 7600, HD 630
  3. Multibeast. Realtek ALC1220 & 100/200 Series Audio (See attachment "3. Multibeast Drivers") NOTE: All the attachments are included in one .zip file

  8. Searched console-No sound assertions found

  11. No Chameleon

Installed audio to a different EFI partition than Clover boots. Mount correct EFI partition and run cloverALC.

toleda, thanks! it's working now!

p/s had to remove the boot USB disk before I mount the EFI. That was the issue all along! :)
