I don't understand. Which files? I think I posted everything I could find.

Never mind, it's fixed. I decided to run MultiBeast again, rebooted and the audio devices became available. Thanks for the help!

Please make ALC233 support, I don't see any on google for ALC233 Realtek AppleHDA.
I just upgrade from 10.10 Yosemite (audio worked) to 10.12.4 Sierra (audio not working).

My Laptop: Asus A451LN
codec ID: 0x10EC0233
audio Device: 0x80869C20
Intel HD Graphics 4400

7. AppleHDA887.kext attached.

12. config.plist and DCPIManager/Misc/Boot Log attached. EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched/SSDT-HDEF-HDAS-2.aml

I hope I got everything. I'm a newbie and went with a plain vanilla recommended system in hopes of avoiding problems, but no go. I've fiddled with this for several days, so I've probably made a mess of things.

Problem solved, audio is fully functional now. Thank you! (except line outs do not work - I only get sound from "internal speakers" but I can live with it).
