Hey all. I'm hoping someone can help. I recently bought a Gigabyte H270M-D3H motherboard with the Skylake 6500 i5 processor. I was able to get everything working except for audio. Apparently that motherboard is supposed to be ALC892. I installed drivers with Multibeast but no go.

Here's my set up:

Motherboard: Gigabyte H270M-D3H
Processor: Skylake i5 6500
Graphics: HD530 Integrated
Storage: Sandisk SSD

I've also tried using the audio_cloverALC-1220-120.command method with no luck

The audio devices show up but no sound. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I've attached my config.plist for reference.

Attached AppleHDA.kext is empty, attach correct kext.

I'll try again. Is there a right way to attach .kext files? Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'm copy pasting the file to the desktop (because I can't access the folder from the forum's file browser when I click Upload a File) and then uploading it.

edit: Clearly that isn't working, I also see a 0KB file now attached. I'm uploading a .zip file, hope that's alright.

edit2: Zip isn't working either. How do I do this?

L/E/realtekALC.kext is not loading, attach.

That file doesn't exist. I looked and according to this thread realtekALC.command shouldn't be run with Clover bootloader. What am I missing?

Drag the AppleHDA.kext to Desktop, compress, attach

audioclover.txt: Install /Library/Extensions/realtekALC.kext
Run script again. Restart. Reply with new files.

I reran the script. Looks like realtekALC.kext was installed to the EFI partition this time.
