No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Description of audio problem
Bluetooth audio and front audio jack does not work. I've tried USB mapping, that didnt solve the issue. I've tried all the ALC codes from the supported codecs for my motherboard (ALC887) from the below page:

Only the back audio port works, not the front. Bluetooth audio, connects to headphones, but doesnt show in the audio devices list

macOS version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics

I recently upgraded from High Sierra to Mojave, but the audio device is no longer present.

MacOS 10.14.6
Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3 Rev. 1.0; Bios F22e (Audio = Realtek ALC1150)
3.4 GHz Intel Core i7-6700
Sapphire Radeon RX 580 8 GB

I followed the 'Mojave AppleHDA Audio' instructions to install AppleALC here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/mojave-applehda-audio.260004/ using A. MultiBeast 11

I followed the pdf instruction noted in this thread to Restore native AppleHDA.kext in /S/L/E using Pacifist and Mac terminal. Then I repeated the above AppleALC install with MultiBeast.

I have tried audio ID set to 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, & 11.

The required files are attached.

I'm sure I've missed something... but I'm not sure what to try next. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Still no luck getting AppleALC working for the integrated ALC1150 audio.

I do have an audio workaround.... I found an old Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 PCI board kicking around. The Kx Audio driver Mod is here: https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/t...mod-sound-blaster-live-audigy-124rx-emu-edsp/ ... and seems to be working well. I guess another fix would be to pick up an inexpensive USB audio device.

Problem solved!

If anyone is interested: I found and removed the file HDAEnabler1.kext from /S/L/E and all of my audio problems have resolved. I'm not sure what that file was for or when I put it there... I'm guessing from a previous audio fix.

try download from appleHDA.kext and AppleALC from here or another web, not use pacifist then follow instruction from tonymacx86

Please tell me how to start the sound on codec ALC662 in Big Sur, everything worked in Catalina, I decided to upgrade to Big Sur and how I can't get the sound

I've been with VoodooHDA and AppleALC - it doesn't help, if you use VoodooHDA then HDMI ports appear, but there is no built-in sound card, there is not a single device with AppleALC

This worked for me too! Thanks, thanks thanks thanks! I must have wasted 20-30 hours trying to get my audio ALC898 (GA-Z77X-UD5H) to work after high sierra to mojave upgrade. This should be made an item on the front page with the main instructions. I am sure this was the problem for many folks!

Hi Toleda, Good afternoon.
I would like your help.

Problem: My output devices stop working. In the past weeks they have been loading after multiple restarts.
MacOS: 10.13.6
Motherboard: GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK
Processor: Intel Core i7 3.99 ghz
Graphics: GeForce GTX 960 2047 mb
Procedure: Multibeast/Audio/Realtek ALCxxx/ALC1150

I just have to ask you for detailed and easy instructions because Im not very skilled with codes even though I built my own hackintosh... I'm just a Designer XD haha

Thank you!
