No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

Hey!

I have a problem with my audio too, but cant determine what codec my mb uses (I can't find any reliable source for the specs)
  1. Audio Hardware can’t be installed and doesn’t show up in Hardware Panel. Audio Test in Clover Bootloader works by the way.
  2. macOS 10.13.6 High Sierra/ MB Unknown (MSI GE73VR 7RF Raider Notebook)/Clover bootloader says "realtek 1220") /i7 7700HQ/ GTX 1070
  3. „High Sierra AppleHDA Audio“ on tonymacx86.com and guide on GitHub.com. When I tried to install the drivers via toleda's CloverALC it tells me it can't find any codec
Perhaps someone in here has one more idea? Thanks for your work!
Greets
Andre

Edit: added codec and some more information

You mentioned "BRIX/NUC: 269/layout 1 and 283/layout 10 only".
Checking the https://github.com/acidanthera/AppleALC/wiki/Supported-codecs there is the following info
"
Realtek ALC283 layout 1, 3, 11, 15, 44, 66

"
Could you clarify further this "283/layout 10 only" because it seems that is not matching what is advertised in the wiki?

Thanks in advance!

My audio stopped working after a reboot...

I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15, with a GA-Z87X-D3H mobo (ver. F9, ALC892), i7-4790K, and GTX 780 (native kext).
I installed AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext, the latest versions of each.
I have also tried running "sudo kextcache -u /" and "sudo kextcache -i /".

I attached the necessary files.
Is anyone else having trouble with Catalina audio?

remove appleALC from clover neigther your Hard drive and install voodooHDA 2.92 and put voodoohda.kext in clover kext folder.
for me audio is working very well nothing like before 2 o 1 year ago.

I have posted some time ago to this thread and after some time I decided to come back and fix my problem. First time I had no sound at all, now I can confirm that I have sound only from headphones, no sound from built-in speakers when I remove headphones, no matter what layout-id...

All the details are inside the archive.

Thanks!

Edit: just upgraded to Catalina, same behaviour, I can reupload the report files if is needed

If this is of any help:

Code:

Filtering the log data using "process == "kernel" AND (composedMessage CONTAINS "AppleALC" OR composedMessage CONTAINS "Lilu")"
