No Audio Devices - AppleHDA Realtek Audio

No input or output at all.

Mojave 10.14
Asus Rog Maximus Hero X AC
Boot ROM Version: 133.0.0.0.0
SMC Version (system): 2.15f7
Sapphire AMD Radeon 580x 8gb

I followed like 6/7 different guides and after each one I deleted the files from the kext folder of the system in order to start every time as a clean install, but at this point I’m no sure I deleted all of them.

The last thing I did was retry to install the kext via MultiBeast(checking AppleALC, 100/200/300 Series Audio Support, Optional 3 port (5.1)) but still not working.

I’mt not getting the meaning of the 6th point

There’s no Intel High Definition Audio if I go to System info/Hardware/Audio

I did not use any script either I’m not getting 8th point

No files in /clover/acpi/patched

thank you guys

Everything works! Thanks so much for your help. You are a tremendous resource to every member of this site, and we all should recognize all that you do for everyone, especially those not as gifted and experienced as you!

Thanks again!

Missed Post #1625: "Two choices (choose one):
1. Installed Lilu.kext_v1.3.1, removed AppleALC.kext, why?
2. Installed FakePCIID, chose 1 and 2, why?
All of 1 or 2, not both
Try again

Hey Toleda,

Thanks for the quick feedback.

Post #1615 wasn't addressed to me, so I'm not sure what to do now.

I removed AppleALC because you said in post #1605 the "AppleALC controller patch is not working". Should I not have removed it? Or should I have removed both the AppleALC and Lilu.kexts?

Currently I have FakePCIID and FakePCIID_Intel_HDMI_Audio.kext v1.3.15 installed in L/E.
I also have Lilu v1.3.1 installed in S/L/E.

Thanks.
