intead it's always gray with no option to choose, have to mount EFI Mount v3 and restart system again to get audio working

Screenshot shows Voodoo is installed, off topic.
This thread supports AppleHDA.kext only.

1. Description of audio problem - No devices show up anymore after update, Computer hangs
2. OS X version/motherboard model/BIOS version/processor/graphics - 17E202 / Ga-X99-Gaming 5 / / 5690X / GTX1080
3. Procedure/Guide Used - NONE / Just updated macOS to 17E202
4. Copy of IOReg - IOReg_v2.1/File/Save a Copy As…, verify file (Tools 2.) -ATTACHED
5. Terminal/diskutil list - attach Terminal output - CANT OPEN TERMINAL CRASHES
6. Installed S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext (10.11 and newer, search: show hidden files) - Installed
7. Screen shots:

   2. System Information/Hardware/Audio/Intel High Definition Audio (not Devices)

Back again... still no device, no progress, except I got my lawn mowed. Latest problem report is attached. (If possible I would like to know what source is supposed to provide "Intel High Definition Audio" in System Information (or "System Report")/Hardware/Audio. It isn't there at all, only a window headed "devices," and of course there aren't any.)

Hi, I can´t get a valid Audio Id to install cloverALC script. No sound device. I'm sending my folder and really would aprecciate your help toleda.
