High Sierra isn't recognizing any of the audio inputs or outputs.

I've been using the "Before you Install Audio" and "AppleHDA Realtek Audio" guides, but I've gotten turned around somewhere and am confused as to how to proceed. Any assistance would be much appreciated.

OS X: 10.13.3
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3
BIOS version: F7
Processor: i5-7500
Graphics: Gigabyte 1050 Ti (currently needs to have its drivers installed, but that's a separate issue)

From a clean install of macOS 10.13.3 High Sierra, I did the DSDT patches for IRQ Fix and Audio_ID Injected to ID 1 and ran the cloverALC script which picked up on my Realtek audio and seemed to complete successfully. However, a reboot proves that the sound card is still completely MIA on the system, not showing up in System Information or in System Preferences. I attached all the required files according to Post 1. System info up to date on my profile.
