Hi Toleda,

I am reaching out again for help after trying my best to search for similar threads.
  1. I am currently not getting Audio on HDMI. I am able to get sound via motherboard port as well as the frontend headphone port.
  2. OS X Version 10.13.1, MB: GA-Z270-HD3, BIOS version F7, CPU: I5-7500K, Graphics: IGPU 630
  3. AppleALC. Fixed HDEF, Picked Layout ID:1 (as you suggested on an earlier thread), placed (most recent versions of) AppleALC.kext and Lilu.kext in EFI/Clover/Kext/10.13
  4. Copy of IOReg attached.
  5. diskutil ouput Attached.
  6. AppleHDA.kext attached.
  7. Screenshots attached. Do not see Intel High Definition Audio (may be the problem)…
  8. No Script used. Also tried disabling HDAS to HDEF and running the script provided in https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/applehda-hdmi-audio-guide.234735/ Did not work so reverted back.
  9. No SSDT patched. DSDT attached.
  10. Done.
Please help. Thanks.

  1. No audio (ever) since building this new system. Everything else working flawlessly except no audio device detected.
  2. Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.1 (17B1003), Gigabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming, BIOS F7 (latest), Intel i5 7600k, Asus GeForce GTX1060 OC Dual 3G
  3. Unibeast & Multibeast for High Sierra. Nvidia web drivers (latest from Nvidia)
  4. Copy of IOReg - IOReg_v2.1/File/Save a Copy As…, verify file (Tools 2.)
  5. Diskutil list
  6. Installed S/L/E/AppleHDA.kext - I don’t know how to show you this? I don’t see an AppleHDA.kext in my EFI/Clover/Kexts/Other folder.
  7. Screen shots:
    1. DPCIManager/Status (Doesn’t appear to do anything)
    2. System Information/Hardware/Audio/Intel High Definition Audio (not Devices)
    3. System Preferences/Sound/Input
    4. System Preferences/Sound/Output
  8. audio_cloverALC-x0.command
  9. EFI/CLOVER/config.plist
    1. DPCIManager/Misc/Boot Log (I think I got what your asking for)
    2. EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/Patched/dsdt.aml (not exist)
    3. EFI/CLOVER/ACP/Patched/ssdt(s).aml (not exist)
  10. Done!
  11. Sincerely grateful for any help and blown away at the tech level in this website. Wow. You guys are helping a lot of people (hopefully me a little more with my audio). THANK YOU

Hi guys! During installation of high Sierra 10.13.1 I've checked Realtek ALC892 in multibeast options. But in sounds preferences there were no devices. Then I've tried to install 100/200 series also (from multibeast), but again no devices in sounds preferences. So I've decided to follow this guide but I can't uninstall AppleHDA Realtek Audio (I don't have this file in System/Library/Extension), and I couldn't get a copy of AppleHDA.kext using pacifist. How can I do? In attached my reporting problems file. My build: ASRock h170m pro4s, i5-6500, intel HD 530.

Restore native AppleHDA [Guide]

Neither of the above is necessary
