Hi toleda,

thanks for the quick response and sorry for missing that.
However, I was going to try an older graphics card and see if I can get it to work and while working on the motherboard I noticed that the connector for the chassis's front panel audio jacks was not properly connected to the motherboard.

After the reboot I suddenly got HDMI audio as well as the normal audio.
Could that have caused the problem? Anyway, I am glad now that I got it working!

Cheers!

Hello
So before I scramble together all the info needed I just wanted to ask;
Is this the right thread if I can't get any audio to work, including external USB audio interfaces?

Hi, I have Clevo P650SE and working on Hackintosh Mojave. But never had audio since installation. I have no alc-layout-id field in IORegistryExplorer. debug zip is attached.

Thanks in advance!

So I did the latest Security update on Sierra (10.12.6) and now my sound doesn't work anymore.
My motherboard is the Gigabyte Z77-DS3H with an ALC887 sound card.
What I already did, is reinstall the ALC887 driver with MultiBeast - didn't work. Then I installed ALC887 legacy driver with MultiBeast - didn't work. Finally I installed VoodooHDA - doesn't work either, just says ERROR in Preferences Pane. No output devices shown in settings.

Mac OS 10.12.6
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z77-DS3H - Bios Version F11a
CPU: Intel i7 3770k
GPU: Nvidia GT640

Thank you for the help

Full stop. Installing other audio options ensure audio recovery, impossible.
Then I installed ALC887 legacy driver with MultiBeast - didn't work.
Not applicable to your motherboard, waste of time
Finally I installed VoodooHDA - doesn't work either,
VoodooHDA conflicts with AppleHDA, bad idea
