No audio device on z68x-ud4-b3 ALC889 el 10.11.2

I've got everything working other than onboard audio for my z68x-ud4-b3 board with ALC889. I am using both the DSDT and SSDT, booting with clover legacy. The UEFI firmware for this board is broken so i had to revert. I still have to boot from a USB at the moment but sound is my priority. I've tried the command patch for AppleHDA but it's not doing anything for me. I installed the ALC889 driver via multibeast and similarly nothing, though i'm not sure if i have to remove it or what i need to do atm. Any help would be appreciated.

no devices are listed to play sound.

I was never able to install alc889 from multibeast. I did it with VooDooHDA v.2.8.7 and also made it with this: https://github.com/toleda/audio_CloverALC
Both work in 10.10 and 10.11
