Hello, yesterday I (again) tried setting up Sierra on my Skylake computer, after a few hiccups I managed to get everything to work... Except for audio. Last time I got audio to work by setting up VoodooHDA, but now it doesn't work. I tried reading toleda's guides, but they're written in some weird language I don't seem to understand.
Things I tried:
-VoodooHDA, shows error, no audio device
-Multibeast options for ALC892, also no audio device, but no error
-Patched AppleHDA kext, same problem.
I'm starting to wonder if somehow audio could have been disabled in bios.
Anyways, any help and/or tips appreciated. Thanks!
EDIT: Added kext-dev-mode=1 boot flag and now the device shows up in system, but no sounds come out of it. Currently working on that.
