No AHCI == No OSX?

use UniBeast - Lion 1.5.3 to build a Lion 10.7.4 bootable usb stick , then replace the IOATAFamilly.kext in yourusb/System/Library/Extensions , then reboot and you can go to the installer with all HDD recognized as well.

It works perfectly on my DELL Inspiron 620.

Almost all mainboards and stock computers ship with AHCI enabled.

H61 doesn't, mate :( I'm stuck with a Dell Optiplex 390 here.

I'm a beginner, so I can't really catch a glimpse of what you guys are saying :(
I want to install Snow Leopard, since it's made for x86.

Is there anyway I can install it? Software solution? Or hardware one, like a separate card in a free slot or something. Please don't suggest something like "please change your mainboard."

thire is no option to set ahci mode it is enable by default by tha manufacturer how to install mojave in that its showing acpi handler faild error
