Night Shift Mode

Has anyone been able to figure out how to enable Night Shift mode on hackintosh? I am running iMac 14,2 and thought that the feature would be available but I do not see it in Display settings. I found a page on pikeralpha's website and modified the CoreBrightness binary but it does not seem to work. Anyone else had success with this?

I use iMac15,1 (even though I have an older processor, i5-3570K) and I have the night shift mode in display options. Didn't have to do anything after the update.
You should try 15,1 too, it matches your specs anyway. (imac15,1 models have 4590 / 4690 / 4790K cpu)

Which monitor are you using? I think it may also depend on what monitor you're using for the feature to work.

I have two monitors connected, a 23 inch Dell and a 27 inch LG, both are 1080p and pretty old, 4-5 years old, so nothing special. The night shift option appears on the main monitor only, but the settings apply to both.

I just tried iMac 15,1 profile and no luck. I still don't see the Night Shift mode in Display. I have a Philips 40" 4K monitor. Very odd that it doesn't work.

2CyCLoBoT, I'm approve this way, for me the night shift was be not aviable in 14.1 profile, after update to 15,1 by mulibeast the night shift is work on my setup: benq22''dvi/nvidia750/intel9500. thanx to krallmen

Use iMac 14,2. Night Shift works on iMac 14,1 also.

Most likely you haven't patched ACPI hence why it doesn't work.
