New XPS 8300?

Did you ever get it to work? I'm thinking of buying an XPS 8300 and using it as a hackintosh, just wanted to see if it is a viable option, or if I'm just going to have a bunch of problems.

I haven't tried it in quite awhile, I gave my XPS to my girlfriend who just wanted to use it as a windows machine and built my own. The problem I had was you couldn't use the stock kernel, but I THINK that's been sorted out now. Other than that sound worked, network did NOT, I had to buy a usb to ethernet adaptor, I got the apple one.

I wouldn't buy it 100% counting on it to work as a hackintosh unless you know someone who says it's working.
