Does the new Xeons e5 v4 work in El Capitan?

Anyone knows it?




& whats the el capitan CPU limit - Yosemites is 30 Cores.

(including 1 Core for every Hyperthreading... of course...)

e5 2696v4 has the same performance as 2699 but billiger.About US$2000.
But i have not seen a Hackintosh with 10.11 mit more than 24cores.The best score i could found is this:

Other cheaper Xeon v4 are maybe intresting for some here too..

More popular now ist the set of e5 2670 x2 +asus z9pe d8 motherboard,throuth nicht so powerful like 2699,but also good.

both the cpu and reg ecc ddr3 memory are so cheap.the motherboard is a little expensive.

i allready use a 2696v3 in Yosemite with a cinebench 11,5 result of 21,8
with only 15cores 30 because of hyperthreading. more than 30 dont work in yose.
18 Cores without HT are a little bit slower.

So i think thats the same result like 2 E5 2670v2
i saw a cinebench 11,5 result of 22,5 for 2 2670v2 on youtube.

Dont know if im allowed to post the link but i dont think so.
