What happens when you hold down the Option key and click on "Scaled"?
You might need the Floris497/mac-pixel-clock-patch-V2 and/or SwitchResX.

Tired to install the video graphic it doesn't work at all and keep reboot when reach "System uptime in nanoseconds"

This is what kext I installed
AppleALC, IntelGraphicsFixup, Lilu, Shiki

Also applied FakePCIID_Intel_HD_Graphics.kext, FakePCIID.kext

How is your display connected? (HDMI or DP)?
If HDMI, did you patch the framebuffer for HDMI?

I try this https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...o-sandy-ivy-haswell-broadwell-skylake.189495/ but it doesn't support Kaby Lake.

Patching the framebuffer is only a subset of HDMI audio implementation.
(And FYI: KabyLake HDMI/DP audio procedures essentially same as Skylake).

I guess the answer to my question was "no"...
You need to patch the connector-type within the framebuffer to be HDMI <00 08 00 00> instead of DP <00 04 00 00>.
Read up on framebuffer connector patching...

By the way, are we supposed to put the Lilu.dYSM file that is included with the Lilu.kext file anywhere in particular? I looked through the read me and didn't come across anything in this regard.

The .dsym is only for debugging.

You're right. The readme should state the differences between the debug and release versions.

The dSYM file contains debugger symbols for debugging the kext. You don't need to put the dSYM file anywhere.
https://developer.apple.com/library...ncept/KEXTConceptDebugger/debug_tutorial.html

I don't know why the debug version doesn't have a dSYM file. The debug version has much more logging information which appears in the system log as messages that start with "Lilu: (DEBUG)".

You can make Lilu questions and comments at:

Added to Post 1:

EDIT: With WWDC Mac announcements, 10.12.6 will likely bring native CPU support for Kaby Lake. For those looking to experiment, there is a 10.12.5 update for 2017 iMacs which apparently contains kernel support. Otherwise Clover's FakeCPUID feature will support Kaby Lake.

@tonymacx86 Have you run this on your Z270 system? Are there any caveats to running the installer on a functioning Kaby Lake Hackintosh (other than deleting the Skylake spoof in the Clover config.plist)?
