I've done a few Hackintosh installs on this machine before, all with pretty good success, but I am up against a wall right now. (And I should note that I don't have a ton of experience modifying the software build outside of making changes using Multibeast).

Basically I installed Sierra (12.1) and when I boot up, the display is super choppy. Even logging in I get something like window blinds rolling up the screen as the system logs in. And then the display is super choppy and laggy. Furthermore, the desktop doesn't fill the monitor and constantly has a thick black border around the whole screen

... and the audio doesn't work.

I installed with "insert Nvidia" checked and the proper audio driver for my motherboard. For system definitions I've tried the default (iMac 14,2 as well as 13,2 and 12,2).

Built using the most recent guide (with most recent versions of Clover, Unibeast, and Multibeast)

Hardware:
MoBo: Gigabyte Intel GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 570
CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Quad-Core Processor 3.4
Power: Antec CP-850 850 Watt
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB DDR3 SDRAM
Storage: Samsung 840 EVO SSD 250Gb

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

I have the same problem, a black border on the post boot display, and jerky rendering, since upgrading to Sierra.
My setup worked fine on El Capitan before upgrading.
