I've been experimenting with various boot flags. The only combo I have found that doesn't immediately make the computer reboot before the logo is: nvda_drv=1 along with unchecking the load Nvidia driver in Clover's graphics settings.

The only way it should work should be with both nvda_drv=1 and kext-dev-mode=1 boot arguments.

Hi!

I have a gigabyte gtx960 card. I've installed this nVidia web Drivers and CUDA. After installation, I select "nvidia driver" in the upper menu and then reboot. The first time I boot it works perfect, but when I click on the panel, I can see that the OS X drivers are selected instead. I can choose "nvidia drivers" again, but when I reboot, it doesn't work anymore.

Of course, I boot with nvda_drv=1. Am I missing something?

Just dropping in to confirm the update went fine on Gigabyte z77n-wifi, GTX 970, Yosemite 10.10.2 through the "Nvidia driver manager" system preferences pane.

Pieroman69,

Yep. Tried that. Reboots before Apple logo.

In trying to "rollback" I can't install any of the previous Nvidia web drivers. The installer says they're not for new enough for 10.10.2.

This is just killing me. The previous software worked fine with Clover.

Right clicked looking for "Show Contents" and find it is not there. So how do I install the previous web drivers?

At this point, I'm seriously thinking of replacing my old GTX260. Maybe a 960...?

Any ideas on how to get the previous web drivers to install? Just to reiterate, I get a dialog warning in the installer saying the previous version is not compatable with 10.10.2.
