New Nvidia Web Driver 343.02.02F02 ?

Status
Not open for further replies.
I have also a problem installing the newest driver: WebDriver-343.02.02f04.pkg

I am on 10.10.2 with the newest security patch. My GFX ist a GTX 285 Nvidia.
Vanilla OS X Retail Nvidia Drivers. No Nvidia Webdriver installed before!

I am using clover with the this settings (see screenshots)!

After installing the web driver I did a restore of kextcache with kexthelper.
Nvidia Driver is set via prefpanel!

Reboot - Kernel Panic!

Also with all kind of boot options: -f -x -v
Also with nada_drv=0
Also with nv_disable=1

Any help?

I checked /Volumes/Yosemite SATA/System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartup.kext/Contents/Info.plist

And it says:

<key>NVDARequiredOS</key>
<string>14C1514</string>

So also no problem there?!

Attached you also find a zip of my clover config.plist!

Any help would be nice... I really do not have a clou why it boots up with Retail drivers and doesn't with web drivers...

....

Your clover boot args in the plist look fine. Did your hack work before using this card/driver ?
If your SMBIOS is set to MacPro 5.1, either chan ge to 3.1 or delete AppleTyMCEDriver.kext from your extensions folder (that's unrelated to nvidia)
Also you should disable NVidia injection in clover.

Thanks for your quick reply!

The Card worked fine on a vanilla OS X 10.10.2! Kernel Panic only after updating the web driver!

I will try to delete AppleTyMCEDriver.kext and uncheck NvidiaInjection....
Will get back in a few... lets see if that works...

No success with this config!
Black screen now... No more Kernel Panic... I am on 2x DVI Ports with dual monitor setup.

Where the heck is the problem... :-/

May I have to say that I do not use a DSDT!?

Update Screenshot of my EFI Partition! Maybe I have to get rid of some drivers?
