Does this mean none of the other cards will benefit from this?

Yeah, I'm wondering this as well. Would it be beneficial to update the drivers on my GTS 250 1GB?

The drivers are meant for the Quadro 4000 for Mac product, and all of the official Mac supported discreet cards. That is why the list is so limited. However, the drivers will work for all supported cards (see CustoMac Buying Guide) like the ones included with Mac OS X Lion 10.7.3.

Most likely these drivers will end up in 10.7.4, but 5xx support oob is a nice addition. For me, on my GTS 450, testing before and after, I had no change in performance benchmarks.

Keep the test results coming- I'm curious to see if anyone gets any performance increases or decreases vs. the default 10.7.3 drivers.

With my GTX 460 1GB: (MSI Cyclone)

Before: 29.46 fps

After: 29.00 fps.

Confirmed working Asus en 8400GS Silent 512 dual screens for the first time for me with Lion!

This update says it’s version 270.00.00f01.
Mac OS 10.7.3 contains version 270.05.20f02.

Why would they use a lower version number?

This is great news. Have a GTX 580 that I was going to sell but now I'll keep it for my next build. Want to hear more feed back of this working on the Gtx 580 with no problems.

Thank you for posting this info.
My EVGA GTX 590 is finally displaying at 1920 x 1080 after installing these drivers.
I had tried everything before this with no luck whatsoever.
Thanks again.
