Hi,

I just installed the new nvidia web drivers (342.02.01f01 - 22.12.14) for the GTX 980 and the HDMI connection finally works!!!

Merry Christmast to everyone and to Nvidia

Seems like great news, could you provide a link and details please ? The last drivers that I know of are 343.02.01 (which by the version number seem more recent than the one you specify), here: http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/80893/en-us

343.02.01f01 is available via NVIDIA update. I just made the update, restart with the HDMI port (no adapter needed!) and it worked without problems. Bevor I had the no-signal issue.

Correct version is 343.02.01f01. The update is available with System Preferences/Nvidia Driver Manager. At this time, the new driver is not posted to Nvidia/Downloads

Be warned for 4k users.

I've updated this afternoon, and I'm no longer able to get 4K output over HDMI or DVI (using a DVI to HDMI cable). I've been using 4K for a couple of weeks with the last update and this has set me back. Oops.

I got system going into reboots on video driver init (4K over DP Dell UP2414Q) with new 343.02.01f01 (mac mini 6,2).
Changing sys def to mac pro 5,1 provides proper boot, but 4K is limited to 30Hz.
Reverting to old drivers 343.01.02f03 fixes the issue.

Does anyone know why Nvidia hides or doesn't even post their Mac drivers? Are they ashamed of them?

Hey toleda, what is different about this version of drivers that hemon's no-HDMI issue got resolved?

Am I likely to get the same result with the ASUS GTX 750 Ti - PH - 2GD5?

Update: No HDMI signal on the ASUS GTX 750 Ti - PH - 2GD5 even with Web Drivers 343.02.01f01.

Adding more info to this thread:

Newest Nvidia Web Driver - 343.02.01f01 - enabled HDMI but limited to 1080P. DVI - HDMI works but limited to 4k 30hz.
The previous Nvidia Web Driver - 343.01.02f03 - HDMI port did not work. DVI - HDMI had 4k60Hz.
Tested that in 10.10.1 with GTX 980 in LG 49UB8500.

Unfortunately, I updated to this driver and it caused a boot loop for me. I had to boot with the nv_disable=1 option to get back in, uninstall this update, and then reinstall the version prior.

Could there be another flag that I need to add to my loader for this updated driver to work for me?
