Does anyone think that the new Nvidia cards will cause any problems on a currently operational Hackintosh?

I'm planning on upgrading to a GTX 1060 but don't want to screw up my working system. I currently use a GTX 760 for reference.

What are your opinions?

Currently, I would hold off getting GTX 1060 as its not supported yet either Nvidia Web Driver or native OS X support. Try to get cheap or used GTX video card for the time being until there's a support for 1060 in the near future.

Any idea when this will be? Is there a certain guideline as to how long NVIDIA usually takes to upgrade OS X drivers? I'd like to replace my old GTX650Ti with a 1060, but of course only when compatible.

Hold on onto your GTX760 until 1 month after the release of macOS Sierra. By then, there will either be a driver available or a statement from Nvidia if it will be supported or not in macOS.
