New Machine, won't boot any other way than safe-mode.

I have a new machine with a Gigabyte GA-Z87X-OC, Gigabyte GTX 770, and intel i7-4771 (quad core 3.5ghz haswell) and have installed mavericks. I can boot into safemode but it will not boot normally. I have gotten so far as to be able to make this post on the computer, and I can run multibeast but when I try to run a normal boot it is stuck on the light grey apple boot screen. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

boot with -x -v to get some info on why it gets stuck, that would help to resolve the issue

That is the same point my build was getting halted too "FakeSMC".

Ultimately what got it going was re-running MultiBeast and choosing:

AppleACPIPlatform Rollback to 10.8.1

then using the following:

-v -f npci=0x2000

that got me in! now I have 2 hard drives that i cannot format from the boot disc or when in mavericks (erase and first aid are gone and everything in partition is greyed out) also my audio is only playing from the left stereo speaker?
