FYI just to confirm- you have to insert them in pairs - so you have to have 2 or 4 sticks install (preferably the same memory Modules) - and not just 3

My point is you HAVE to use BOTH slots A1 “and” A2 - you are referencing single slot with the or “or” and must be “and” - this talk is turning me into a lawyer- lol - good luck!

I tested everything possible :

- the recommanded A2/B2 (per user manual) : fail
- Only A1, A2, B1 or B2 : fail (B2 recommanded if only one stick)
- A1/B1 : fail
- A1/A2 : fail
- A1/A2/B1/B2 (4 sticks) :fail
Only B1/B2 works (no matter what stick drom the two kits I use).

And belive me, testing all those combinations is a real pain in the ***, I have to remove the venitrad each time... Only for this I regret not to have bought a AIO water cooling system !
If I understood well, in order to have the dual channel active you MUST (I can be a lawyer too ! ) use A2/B2 (end of daisy chain to close it) if you have only 2 sticks (and of course A1+A2+B1+B2 if you have 4 sticks).

That's not a problem if you turn yoursel into a lawyer, I have a good legal protection insurance !!!

I will go for the same one. Obvioulsy it a faulty one, it happens. You do not seem to have issues with yours. I don't know where you live but here in France lots of models are out of stock. And then if with the new one I have issues again, I will send it back to A**zon and probably take a Gigabyte Z790 aero G, but there is a loooong delay to have it and I work on this computer... so I need somethng to fix that fast and the 790-plus is easily available. I already had a faulty GB Z390 aorus master for may previous hack. I'm not lucky

I dismounted the former computer to do this new one, so I really need to have this one working quickly.
