I would like to build a Hackintosh with the features in the following table. The purchase would do it towards the end of the year. 1 I might have some compatibility problems? 2 Would you change any component? 3 It is cheaper to buy a 4K monitor? 4 Do you think the prices here later this year, will drop?

Parts are OK, but ask again when you are ready to buy.

Currently, the Z97 is not 100% supported, and Corsair RAM is known to have issues, so Z87 motherboards and Crucial and G-Skill RAM are recommended. Whether this changes by 2015 is anyones guess.

The 800 (rather 900 series...) cards will be released as well, so that might be something to consider.

Don't know much about 4K monitors since I don't have the hardware to support them for gaming, but I know you should check the refresh rate, since a lot of the cheaper 4K monitors only run at 30Hz.
