I got all these parts a few weeks ago, and got the computer together with relative ease. I followed a few separate threads on this site to make sure i was doing things right. After lots of tweaking, the best I've managed was to get the computer up and running in safe mode only.

As it wasn't working properly, I found a whole bunch of different forums with people who has similar specs and similar problems. Some of these problems were resolved with bootflags, BIOS options and MultiBeast options that didn't work for me. Another user's problem was resolved when he threw in a graphics card, this would be my last resort for a few reasons:

1. I don't want to dish out any more money for something that may not work.
2. I'm using this rig for recording music and the computer will be in the same room as some reasonably powerful condenser mics (graphics card adds heat, and therefore gets the fans going, unwanted noise and to be honest I'm not concerned about how good it looks)

Anyways, I'm listing below all my specs, along with the place it gets held up when I boot in Verbose.

I would appreciate any help I can get, I might have missed something so obvious. But its important that I get this going, Im planning on using this as my main work computer for recording music but this whole thing has brought that to a halt, which doesn't help with the fact that I dropped a lot of money on this beast as well as an Audio Interface that ONLY works with thunderbolt.

HELP! :p

Hi!

What GPU are you using? If there is a "Missing Bluetooth Error" followed by a "DSMOS has arrived" prompt before it, this is most likely a graphics issue. Please tell me if you are using integrated graphics or a dedicated GPU and tell me the model.

I'm using the integrated graphics in the system, is there a special BIOS options for this that I may have missed?

If possible, boot into the BIOS and enable integrated graphics (ex. Change Auto/PCi to iGPU or similar. Name varies depending on brand of motherboard). Then set the memory to 64 MB and reboot with the IGPEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No flag.

Code:
IGPEnabler=Yes GraphicsEnabler=No

Unfortunately this didn't work, and I'm still getting the:

**** [IOBluetoothHCIController][SearchForTransportEventTimeOutHandler] -- Missing Bluetooth Controller Transport!

message when booting in verbose, I'm also getting something that comes up after that I read in another forum that isn't a problem but i'd appreciate a second opinion:

DRMStatus: iTunes/Apple Store Contenet Access Problem Content playback may be disabled on this computer. You can continue to use the machine, but you should contact an Apple support representative. ErrorCode: 8877652

anyone have any thoughts?
