New hackintosh. Use migrate assist from old hackintosh?

I am building a new hackintosh and want to use migrate assist from the old hackintosh to bring all my apps and info over but not the kexts or anything else,

Is that possible? Anyone else do it?

Please advise on what you do when you make a new hack and want to transfer everything over from the old hack without a total reinstallation.

What I do is replace the EFI on the old boot disk with a new one and I am done. Mind you, my non-apple kexts all live in my EFI, I have no hack stuff in the normal folder S/L/E(?)
You must adjust your BIOS accordingly, of course.

But migration assistant should work too, if you don't have any foreign stuff in S/L/E.
