I have what I think is a pretty decent system at the moment. I used the Intel DH55TC logic board, the Intel Core i5 [email protected], it has 2GB of DDR3 RAM and a Zotac nVidia GeForce 9800GT B-Hawk 512MB graphics card. I have it in a basic but very sturdy case I got locally and it came with a 350 watt power supply. I picked the Intel board being it's a stable and reliable board, the Intel i5 610 because it has a decent amount of oomph to get the job done and will last me awhile. The nVidia card was picked based on recommendations of the advice and knowledge of others here. I built it as an in-between machine for my girlfriend till a new Mac can be bought. My current MacPro is a first gen model and does everything I still need it to do even though it's old in comparison to what is made now days but it was quite an upgrade from my 400Mhz "Sawtooth" G4 in 2006.
