New Clover Release v5.1 r5123/4/5/6/7 - Big Sur Support

Status
Not open for further replies.
I went the OpenCore route. It's working now. Doesn't feel like it's running as good as it was previously. Not sure if I need to do some more tweaking

Same problem here when booting after installation it shows xxx times the following with no end:

AMFI: SIP is off, allowing core dump for pid xxx (logd)
Process[xxx] crashed: logd. Too many corpses being created.
localhost com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.logd.xxx) <Notice>: Service exited due to SIGILL I sent by exc handler[xxx]
localhost com.apple.xpc.launchd[1] (com.apple.logd) <Notice> Service only ran for 0 seconds. Pushing respawn out by 1 seconds
apfs_get_firmlink_target_vnode:2007:vnode_lookupat(Library) failed with error 2 --> this repeats 5 times

Any help??? :/ Image2.jpg

Solved!
Choose "Boot Mac OS X Install for (vol.) via preboot" again and again,
and "Boot Mac OS X from (vol.) via preboot" DOES work without SIGILL error.

"Boot macOS from (vol.)" doesn't work, but no problem.

Clover r5127 latest
Upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur
Stuck at:
AMFI: SIP is off, allowing core dump for pld xx (logd)
Process[xx] crashed: logd. Too many corpses being created.

I did choose "Boot Mac OS X from..." after selected "Boot Mac OS X Install for..." twice

Please help!

Choose "--- via preboot" entry.

Delete "preboot" from "Hide Volume" in config.plist.

wow, thanks so much. It works.
I finally installed Big Sur 11.01
The only thing remaining is App Store updates and download. Has anyone successfully update to 11.1 via App Store yet?

Same. For some reason App store downloads and updates are stuck.
