Same problem here when booting after installation it shows xxx times the following with no end:
AMFI: SIP is off, allowing core dump for pid xxx (logd)
Process[xxx] crashed: logd. Too many corpses being created.

apfs_get_firmlink_target_vnode:2007:vnode_lookupat(Library) failed with error 2 --> this repeats 5 times

Upgrade from Catalina to Big Sur
Stuck at:

I did choose "Boot Mac OS X from..." after selected "Boot Mac OS X Install for..." twice

Delete "preboot" from "Hide Volume" in config.plist.

I finally installed Big Sur 11.01
The only thing remaining is App Store updates and download. Has anyone successfully update to 11.1 via App Store yet?
