Same for me!

With original boot RAM were detected fine.
file from Tony said DDR2 RAM

Same for me. Ram says ddr2. Performance is good though. I still clock a 9500 on geekbench 64.

Weird- all of the changes should be in the sources- the one I did came directly from his sources. I guess I didn't notice because I went back to smbios detection anyway- you can control the injection better using the mem settings (make it say whatever you want!) It was reading 1332 for the RAM. :)

FYI: rekursor has made a System Preferences pane for Chameleon- a GUI to change properties directly from OS X System Preferences! It's in early beta, but you can check it out here:
http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chame ... tree/HEAD/

Also you can download the preference pane beta 7 here:
http://forge.voodooprojects.org/p/chame ... bin/OSX106

UPDATE: Here's rekursor's latest Chameleon RC4 boot file I'm currently using. I compiled it from the source of the Chameleon public development repo from rekursor's latest source. It's pretty much the same as AsureBLN's. Public/boot-2010-01-20-rekursor.zip

I successfully used recursor's new boot file. However, as others, my memory is indicated as DDR2 and no manufacturer is listed.

Found out that the sources haven't necessarily kept up with the development! :D To get the newest features (memory detection) you must use the current AsereBLN booter.zip located here:

http://github.com/aserebln/Chameleon/downloads

To get a custom theme, use the boot file, and place your custom theme in /Extra/Themes/Default. Then you can achieve whatever look you want. When AsereBLN updates his source, I'll compile a version with the Chameleon logo embedded. Hopefully rekursor & the official Chameleon source updates to include these tweaks as well.

I tried the latest Pref Pane, but... Am I missing something? I select one of the other Volumes, say Windows 7 for example, choose restart, and...

...it simply restarts, loads Chameleon, and boots up my Snow Leopard drive as usual. I'm assuming that its supposed to reboot from the Volume that I highlighted in the pref pane, no? Any tips on making this work?

EDIT: Well, to answer my own question, I had to add the location of my boot.plist file to the prefpane preferences file (Library>Preferences>com.chameleon.prefPane.plist) like so:
Code:
<key>forceBootConfigPath</key>
<string>/Volumes/SnowBoot/Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist</string>
Not the most intuitive thing to figure out, but... it works!
