Hi community!
I am new to this whole hackintosh thing. I'm currently running a 2011 iMac in every day use, but I want to upgrade to a hackintosh because of gaming needs.
Would you please have a look at the parts I planned to use?
1 x EVGA GTX760 SuperClocked ACX Cooler
1 x Intel® Core™ i5-4690K, CPU
1 x Corsair CS550M 550W, Power supply
2 x Samsung 840 EVO 2,5" 120 GB, SSD
1 x GIGABYTE GA-Z97M-D3H, Mainboard
1 x Seagate ST2000DM001 2 TB, HDD
1 x Crucial Ballistix Sport XT DIMM 16 GB DDR3-1600 Kit, Ram
(mATX build in a Fractal Design Define Mini - should work with the dimensions...)
So, the plan is to install OS X and Windows 7 on two separate SSDs via a bootable USB drive. Later, I want to be able to select which system to boot on startup. The Seagate of course then functions as the storage drive.
I also plan to hook up a 4k Samsung screen, but am not really sure at the moment about that...
Thanks in advance for helping a new guy!
