Hey guys,

I'm trying to find a decent build for my work. I've checked the buyer's guide, read the goldens builds and manys articles online about pc / builds stuffs. I'm not a pro concerning components but I know two or three things, I came up with the following build, can you tell me if it seems correct for my needs ? Thanks

Why i make a build : for Work, I'm a Motion Designer (2D/3D)

My budget : 2000 € / $

Software I use on a daily basis : After Effect, Premiere Pro, C4D (arnold renderer), substance painter, Z brush and the rest of the adobe suite.

Important point for me :
I want the most silence build possible, I previously had a PC and it was a freaking plane ahah.

So basically good CPU a decent graphic card, lot of RAM, decent hard drive space for less than 2K. (and of course compatible for hackintosh)

My first entry of the build :

CPU : Intel Core i7 6700K
Ventirad : Corsair Hydro Series - H105 OR Noctua NH-D14 (Watercooling or not?)
Motherboard : Asus ROG - MAXIMUS VIII HERO
Memory : Ballistix Sport LT White DDR4 2 x 16 Go (32Go)
Graphic Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 - 6 Go
SSD : Samsung Serie 850 Pro - 512 Go
Hard Drive : Seagate BarraCuda 3 To
Case : Fractal Design Define R5 White Window
Power Supply : Corsair AX760 Modulaire - 760W

What do you guys think about that ?

Thanks

Up ? Is there something wrong with my post ? Or my build isn't interesting ? Ahah answer me guys

There are NO Mac drivers for any of the 1000 series video cards. No one knows when or even if Nvidia will release drivers. So you can't use anything beyond the various 900 series cards.

The Fractal R5 is an excellent case for silent running. However the windowless version will be more silent than the one you listed.

Personally, I would go with air rather than liquid cooling but there is controversy over which is better.

Everything else on your list looks good, but a 650W PSU would probably be sufficient.

See if you can find a good price on a used 980 Ti they are disappearing quickly. A 980 would work as well.

CPU : Intel Core i7 6700K - 350€
Ventirad : Noctua NH-D14 - 75€
Motherboard : Asus ROG - MAXIMUS VIII HERO - 200€
Memory : Ballistix Sport LT White DDR4 2 x 16 Go (32Go) - 150€
Graphic Card : EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB - 680€
SSD : Samsung Serie 850 Pro - 512 Go - 180€
Hard Drive : Seagate BarraCuda 3 To - 100€
Case : Fractal Design Define R5 White - 100€
Power Supply : Corsair 650W PSU - 60€

Total : 1 895 €

Looks good ? I can even buy a second screen cause I already have one
