New Apple keyboard - Not what I was expecting...

Well after all the rumours of a touch-bar external keyboard for Pros, Minis and iMacs I was surprised to see that this is apparently it :

So a tiny bit of an anti-climax but still very useful and even sensible

It works correctly with hackintosh?
The wired and the bluetooth version I mean

I don't see why not. There's always just the old worry that you wouldn't have a keyboard to enter with until the desktop and bluetooth drivers were loaded. Most PC motherboards initialise the first USB port for the keyboard after BIOS POST. I've always preferred wired.

And what's more I've just seen what price the now discontinued wired version of the old faithful keyboard is selling for, as it's now not available from Apple any more.
