Beta- for Macs- improves Hardware Acceleration? How does it work for you compared with what you already had? Curious.

Flash Player “Gala†preview release with H.264 video hardware decoding on Mac OS X
The Flash Player "Gala" preview release introduces H.264 hardware decoding on supported Mac computers running Mac OS X 10.6.3 or higher. This preview is based on the latest Flash Player 10.1 release candidate for Mac OS.

Not recommended- big spaces in youtube- Hulu doesn't work? Firefox- latest version. Will do a reboot and test again.

Thanks, i was about to download, good thing i decided to read the reply lol :)

I reverted back to Flash Player 10.1- Apparently Adobe just got the APIs recently, so it's very early to judge- but wouldn't they think that most people would check YouTube/Hulu first for compatibility and testing? Seems weird that it has issues with those commonly used flash sites in one of the most common browsers. o_O

EDIT: Here's another story:

been using gala, watched quite a bit of movies through hulu and so froth and it works. no slowdowns (except when i try to boot vmware + win7)

i'm assuming the acceleration is working, yet I don;t have one of the supported cards. wonder how they check
