:think::idea:

Is this the Black Friday deal of the 21st century ? Has Apple gone completely mad due
to all of the customer complaints about the high cost of a new Macbook ?

No, this isn't the Late 2016 version with the emoji touch bar that normally sells for $1799.

It's the Ivy Bridge I5 version from 2012 that Apple has continued to produce up till this year. You can easily swap out the HDD for an SSD and upgrade the ram to 16 GB. Makes a really nice budget laptop that is still fast by today's standards. These are selling like crazy today on Ebay.

+1 these were the last model of MBP where you could still easily upgrade the ram and HDD. That's why that Ebay seller has sold nearly 3000 of these in the last 4 days. We'll never see another Macbook Pro like this ever again. Not sure why Apple doesn't listen to what their customers really want in a product. :( With their huge stock pile of cash why not sell at least one product with a lower profit margin that users can upgrade themselves ? The increased sales would offset the lower profit margin.
