Hi there Hackintoshers !

I have an unusual question that I can't find the answer to on Google or anywhere.... I want to allow file sharing between my PC to my Hackintosh over the local network, but I don't want my Hackintosh to connect to the world wide web...

I tend to do audio processing on my Hackintosh and Video editing on my PC but I don't like transferring files via usb when it comes to mixing the 2 together and I like to keep my Hackintosh offline.

Is the any way to purposely connect the Hackintosh to my local home network but not the web? As you'd expect all I can find online is the opposite way to what I'm searching for, there is lots of info on "fixing a Mac connected to network but has no internet" type questions, but what I actually want this the other way round! :lolno:

Thanks in advance for any advice !!

a few ideas that come to mind:

check to see if you can block specific IPs or MAC addresses in your router,
change the DNS server to an invalid address,
possibly there is an entry you can put in your /etc/hosts file that will block everything.
