Hi guys,

I'm new to Hackintoshes and need some information to see if either of these two PCs are able to be turned into a hackintosh.

First one is dell optiplex 780 hackintosh (intel core 2) and the second one is (Asus AS V7-P7H55E with Intel i3).

Additionally, the Asus does not have any operating system. Is this needed before turning it into a hackintosh?

For the Dell 780, you can install Snow Leopard First from the DVD and the update it to 10.6.8 to get Mac App Store access. Then you can get El Capitan and install that. The Asus is a more difficult system to Hackintosh so do some of your own research on that before trying it. Hardly anyone here used Asus back in the H55 days. There are two threads you can look at for ideas:

It should be much easier to install Snow Leopard on the Dell 780. You can make one El Capitan installer and try it on both computers. For either one you'll need a Snow Leopard Compatible graphics card. Make sure to make the Unibeast drive for Legacy booting, not UEFI when you get to that stage.
