what’s a sweet spot on used micro /mini stuff ??

I just sold my most reliable smooth hackintosh I ever built . Regrettably.

it’s been a long time and my budget is very low .
Can some one self me time and trouble of doing my own research?

looking for like micro atx , nuc type setup to fit inside a old iMac g5

I’ve had it sitting around a while . Last time I toyed the idea I realized the stock lcd could be adapted , difficulty .

the more crucial issue is the form factor of the psu in the iMac . I wanted to retain that psu or get some kind of psu I can adapt to fit it’s housing

idk what micro atx and mini needs but maybe not a lot of juice .

I would like a full desktop cpu 2nd gen -5th gen

Requirements are for a work machine Integrated might do. I would take I7 suppose.
Don’t do much beside photography .
Some compute would be nice .. but low on the list .
higher would be usb c or thunderbolt . For external backup options .

I have a dismantled 1tb ssd that is tiny but I would imagine micros and minisstarted using nvme..

Iwon’t keep the display . I’m going to find a nice 15” ips lcd from some kind of laptop instead .

kind of spit balling my thoughts and vomiting on this thread .
I think you get the gist . Again used deals are a priority .

Last time was a few yeArs ago and those micro boards were pretty pricey.
