Hey guys,

Recently I successfully installed OSX Lion on my Hackintosh.
And at the same time I had Snow Leopard too.
I still had that installation because that's the main OS
where I do all the work on my website. The reason why I didn't switch yet
was this little crappy problem:

I have 2 HDD's. one is 320Gb and the other is 1TB.
The 1 1TB has Snow Leopard on it together with a lot of data.
To keep it simple: more then 320Gb :p
So that means I can't actually switch to OSX Lion cause I want the Lion installation
on the 1TB HDD.....

got it? I hope you do. If so, please give me some good tip to get the trick done.
Thanks in advance!

just install lion over the snow leopard installation.
youll keep your data/settings, and have lion

yeah that is obvious a good solution.
BUT i should have mentioned that I want the whole SL installation gone.
So a fresh start with a new Lion installation.
Right now I'm trying to lower the Gb's that I have on my drive.
After that I will check if it still isn't possible.

Just backup/clone your drive to another, once you have wiped the 1TB, hook back up the backup/clone and copy over anything you need or migrate apps/data to the new destination.

I've done the following thing: viewed the 680Gb (!) data and checked
if there was any useless data I could delete.
Luckily I found something to delete and crop the whole data folder to an 254Gb!!!
that 426Gb were a lot of virtual machines and a whole Windows backup installation!
That should be exactly enough to be able to copy the Lion to the 1TB.
I will use SuperDuper to clone the Lion installation.

So that means the problem is solved! thanks :)
