I am totally newbie to mac world and have been windows user all my life. Just discovered recently that osx can be installed on windows machine, discovery was really exciting news pushed the trigger for installing Sierra on my laptop.
Followed guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/...eries-j-k-q-n-using-clover-uefi-10-11.168613/ for installing os x sierra on my HP ENVY 17-j127cl 17.3.
Took me some time to figure out booting and installation process etc. Post installation I did managed to make sound working. Tired all possible reading for making battery status work, nothing seems to be working for me on that need help i have applied patches with Rehabman battery etc but still battery status is not shown.
Please guide me where to start. As a newbie, please help with baby steps.
Specification for the laptop is as:
Intel Core i7-4712HQ
16 GB
1 Tb HDD
Intel 4600
Note: Current battery on the laptop is purchase from amazon and is not the one which came originally with laptop.
