Need Help of Boot the Installer on T420s

In Linux, tables are available at /sys/firmware/acpi/tables and /sys/firmware/acpi/tables/dynamic.

You can collect the files from Linux then open them on your desktop in MaciASL.

I final successful using Ubuntu 13.10 to boot my T420s.

And here are the image I see following of your path



But look like have many files there, I am not sure just need one or other like the SSDT1-9 also need?
I need enter the cat instruction or just copy and paste above file to other disk is done?

You can just copy them all to a USB, then work with them in OS X.

I am final using
sudo cat /sys/firmware/apci/tables/DSDT > DSDT.aml to copy it, "dsdt.zip"
plus I am so full copy all files from this folder and zip upload there to "dsdt 2.zip"

But after I am open DSDT.aml in MaciASL on my MacBook Pro Late 2006 (OS X 10.7.5), and press the Compile button, it show me error, I am don't know what is it mean for mine.

Can you help me? Or what is the next I can do to fix them ALL?

Place all SSDT/DSDT in a single directory and use a recent build of iasl to disassemble:

Ok, first of all thank you.

I copy them all to a folder named "a" then open terminal to run this
./iasl -da *.aml

It look like run ok, only two ACPI warning line, I also don't know what is it of it mean, but at least now it output a DSDT.dsl file

OK, then I double of this DSDT.dsl, it open the MaciASL (Lion Version), then I press the Patch button, and following early your reply on #2 this what I need to patch to choose.
Then I press the Compile button....


But it still have other error show up make me stop down.

Ok, first of all thank you.

I copy them all to a folder named "a" then open terminal to run this
./iasl -da *.aml

It look like run ok, only two ACPI warning line, I also don't know what is it of it mean, but at least now it output a DSDT.dsl file

OK, then I double of this DSDT.dsl, it open the MaciASL (Lion Version), then I press the Patch button, and following early your reply on #2 this what I need to patch to choose.
Then I press the Compile button....


But it still have other error show up make me stop down.

"HD3000 High Resolution"

"Fix _PLD Buffer/Package Error"

This time I can only show some warning, BUT 0 ERROR, so I save as the the Patched to new DSDT.aml

And then copy this to /Volumes/UUSB/Extra

Boot up, it work, and I can full install the OS X 10.9.2

The first boot to the Desktop I have find some error/problems, I click About this Mac, the CPU speed just show me 800MHz, not the 2.5GHz, anything I am do wrong?

The second error is, the keyboard's Windows Key look like not working, so I can't screen capture my first time boot screen of it.

On the second boot once finished the install, I install the MultiBeant...

I choosed the UserDSDT on it, then point to desktop's DSDT.aml let it load.

Ok, but I look like do something wrong... I choose MacBookPro 8.1 ...
One finished the install MutliBeant, and reboot, I can't go to the desktop anymore.

Whatever I am using the USB boot also failed!

How to fix it? Do I need reinstall all from zero? OR Choose MacBookPro 8.1 is a bad idea.

MacBookPro8,1 is correct.

Boot verbose (-v) so you can see where it might be hanging up.

Actually, what option I need to choose in MultiBeast for notebook? I am using 6.2.1 version.

Hi RehabMan,

I final, format the HDD and reinstall ...

but now I am stop at not install the MultiBeast 6.2.1. Because before after install I can't boot anymore.

I just know I choose many option on it.

Now, I did the clean reinstall, and I find my keyboard layout is wrong, The windows Key not work like "Apple Logo" Key. But ... actually now the Apple Logo Key on my T420s is on the "Alt" key...

So now I can Screen Capture my notebook screen for you to reference....

And one questions, I am now Screen Capture my MutliBeast Setting for your reference, do I am choose right? (I am now still not press the "Build" Install button, since before one installed it reboot make me lost the OS like the last post Screen Capture I send to you, die on the -v text)

And you can see the 800Mhz CPU speed ...





Now awaiting your suggestion.
