Need help! Intel 2.5GbE LAN chip on Gigabyte Z490 Vision G (Catalina)

Hi guys,

I made a bit of a blunder and bought the Gigabyte Z490 Vision G motherboard.

I didnt notice it only has 1x Intel 2.5GbE LAN chip round the back for network connectivity.

I can't find anything online regarding how to make it work? I've got Catalina 10.15.5 installed (Open Core 0.5.9) and is running beautifully...just no network

I see:

Uses RehabMan's FakePCIID to enable compatibility with on-board audio and Intel i225 2.5Gbit Ethernet port

On CaseySJ's guide there but not sure how to achieve this?

Hi, you'll need to add the ethernet port in the config.plist where you also added the iGPU etc. (PCI I believe). That did the trick for me on my 2.5GB Ethernet ASUS Z490 Gaming-E.

Works like a charm now!

do you have a pic to do that? I have the same issue I have a msi z490 gaming...just not sure how to code it..Thanks
