Need some help fixing RTC.
I followed the OC guide here but it looks like I may have random write issues. I split the regions from 00-80 and 80-FF, got a safe mode message on 80-FF but not on 00-80, so the bad region should be within 00-7F. Broke that down further and further until I had it narrowed down to 3F-4C. I split that into two, 3F-46 and 46-4C, but both times it POSTed to safe mode. I backed out to a wider range and randomly decided on 21-67 and again got safe mode. I went all the way back to 00-80....safe mode. Tried 80-FF, safe mode, but 00-FF is good. So it looks like I have regions that are bad randomly??????
Other than the nuisance of booting from BIOS when I reboot (which isn't too often), is there any reason that I shouldn't just get rid of the kext and boot argument? I feel like trying to find the intermittent regions could become a full time job.
