I have a Super Micro X9DAi mother board and was able to get 10.9.5 Vanilla audio working, however in Yosemite there is no audio. I tried copying the VoodooHDA kext over from the working Mavericks partition.
The bios says azalia audio, and in windows the system sees it as a realtek alc 889. If there is a DSDT free way in multibeast I would try this as well.
The audio will start and then stop. I can test it by dragging the volume slider when the system starts up for a few seconds. After a couple tests with the volume slider at the top the audio becomes disabled.
I have a vanilla install of 10.10.5 using Chameleon. I know nada about clover and would prefer the chameleon way of boot flags.
All I use is dart=0 and npci=0x2000 to boot in. I can boot with clover but the system is not seeing all the hardware correctly.
Thank You, Nick
