Need advice on buying new laptop

What version of iASL are you using? I removed the one i had, followed this guide https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/guide-patching-laptop-dsdt-ssdts.152573/
Installed a new one that is 1.4 and now i'm getting a tons of erros..

1.4 will give a ton of errors

i haven't needed to patch DSDT in a long time

I figured it out how to get back to the 1.31 version.. Still the same only 1 error comes up..
I used this code:

iasl -dl -fe refs.txt DSDT.aml SSDT*.aml

Can you check if it gives 1 error on your end? Thanks

Also i checked my preboot.log and SSDT-PlugintType1.aml is disabled, is this normal?

yes as you have plugintype = true in config.plist which is fine
