Today I got DELL DA300, which is 6 in 1 Type-C mobile adapter.
This item support few kinds of output, but the point is it can connect on TB3 or USB 3.1 Type-C adapter.
So I do the test about if it work with TB3.

And the result...it possibly works!
For why I'm said "possibly" because it shows TB3 USB port when check IORegistry.
But tested 2 USB sticks connected on the same time, both can detected with good speed.
(Only one USB device can be detect if DA300 working with USB mode.)

Of course, the HDMI output also works, too. (Only video output unfortunately.)

Below screenshots is what I got when plugged.

In conclusion, the TB3 on this laptop is possibly works.
I have no external GPU box so I can't test it really work or not.
At least a good start.

Update:

Confirm that TB3 in totally worked.

Using Apple Thunderbolt ethernet card to test, and here's a result

Curious about the Thunderbolt information still said "no driver loaded" in system information.
At least it worked. Very good news.

Got one inspiron 15 7590 today, my hp 4540s started to do some weird things (I think motherboard is dying) and I needed more power.
it's i7 9750H + FHD screen + GTX 1050 version + 57Whr battery.
Followed steps on @saintno1997 github. Thanks, you did a great work.
installation was smooth as butter, 10.15.1
I didn't replace wi-fi card, dw1560 are expensive af on ebay, I'm waiting for some offer or something because I'm not paying 65$ for wifi. Meanwhile I will use the recommended usb wifi adapter and a usb-ethernet adapter. I don't think there is room enough to put a macbook wifi card with a ngff adapter, heatpipes are too close to the wifi slot. Maybe it could work on the secondary m.2 nvme slot, but I'm not wasting that slot just for wifi I would like to put in there one more drive in the future.
So far so good, almost everything is working, I need to do more testing.
Sleep is working more or less, it works if you don't close the lid, if you close it you get black screen and kernel panic. If you don't close it works flawlessly, we need to do some tinkering about it, I think it is related to some bios option (Auto-start when you open the lid, maybe).
EDIT: Confirmed, if you disable Auto-start when you open the lid sleep works like a charm.
Upgraded to 32 GB of RAM and performance is amazing.
This is a really recommended laptop family (inspiron/vostro 7590/7591) for its price. Good quality materials, good hardware, and easy to get os x installed (replacing wifi)
Thank you for all your hard work guys, I will contribute and help as much as I can

I have an Inspiron 7590 running Mac OS Catalina since October.

Everything works except:
- WIFI (I use a USB dongle)
- Nvidia Card (as expected)
- Microphone
- Sometimes, when I turn off the system, the computer restarts.

It works but sometimes with problems:
- Native Bluetooth (I don't understand how). I bought a USB adapter to have bluetooth, installed some kext but I was not able to recognize macOS. Finally I checked that my keyboard was connected via bluetooth, and when disconnecting the USB adapter, the keyboard was still working. I researched about it and came to the conclusion that the internal bluetooth of my Dell was working. But it only works if I start Windows, restart my computer and then start MacOS from clover. If I start directly on MacOS, the bluetooth appears on the bar but it doesn't work.
- Sleep: it works, but sometimes KP. If I am connected to an external monitor via hdmi or thunderbolt, when it goes to sleep directly it causes KP. If I disconnect the hdmi cable with the system turned on, the same.
- Sound: it works, even the native control buttons, but sometimes (few) something fails and the sound does not work (when you touch a sound control button, the icon appears but crossed out). It is solved by restarting the system.

Everything else, audio jack, brightness controls, thunderbolt, charging via USB c, webcam, card reader... works fine.

I would like to know how to share my configuration so that someone can test it and all together improve hackintosh for this model.

@saintno1997 Hi, I want to buy a dw1560 for my 7591.But the seller told me that the inspiration 7591's Network Card uses CNVI protocol,so dw1560 can't work on 7591. I wonder if dw1560 can work normally on 7591.Thanks.

Have your tried to patch frame buffer by changing it's connector-type to 08 on config.plist ?
In your case, Apple Display in connected to AppleIntelFramebuffer@2, so you need to patch it like this:
framebuffer-con2-type data 00080000
or change framebuffer-con2-alldata data 02060900 00040000 87010000 to 02060900 00080000 87010000

Hi, too busy in these weeks.

The problem is not a connector-type but HDA controller. Seems like the vanilla Intel HDA with AppleALC not work so well on 9th Gen platform yet.
I checked IOR when plug HDMI on DA300, the connector-type already showed 00080000. This is also affected on built-in HDMI.

BTW, since many people has moved to OpenCore, I'll try moving to OpenCore instead of CLOVER if I have a time. Or directly using @saintno1997 's project.

@NewbeeSy mine currently using DW1820a and it work very well, i think dw1560 will work well also

Lastest ver i build with script have both clover and opencore version, HDMI audio work but need sleep trick

Your guy can test it here
